Buskerfest an Event to Remember

Live Music and Awesome Vendors Who Were Pedaling Their Wares Dirt Cheap!

This is Cort's dream car! He'll get it when he saved up for his mid-life crisis! ;p

A fun band that is very alt-country, but their name escapes me right now!

First, we checked out Sam Outlaw!

60 Watt Kid started and we went over there so I could dance!

Then, we went over to see 60 Watt Kid! They were probably my favorite, by far! I gave them most of our wooden nickels.

I fell in love with this cute boutique that wants to feature my designs and jewels. I spent a little bit of money there too. I'll post some outfits that are inspired by and from there soon! They're so glamorous and girlie. I love love love them! The owner is a doll!

Before getting our dinner, we checked out Lola where I bought a ton of awesome new goodies!

The night winds down, so we take our new wares and begin to head towards our home.

We headed to Super Mex on our walk home for awesome, but ridiculously affordable dinner!

Super Mex had a special going so I didn't have to cook and we went home to enjoy a nice take-out meal!

I wore Minetonka, black, suede booties, a homemade, screen-printed skirt, a black, cotton tank (thrifted), a Built By Wendy jacket (borrowed from a friend), and an H&M scarf with my own jewels!

Another Lovely Black Dress With a New Necklace

Black Laundry

A brand new look that was almost entirely thrifted!

I wore shoes by Guess, a Shelli Siegal Laundry dress, thrifted bracelets, one thrifted necklace and another one I made, homemade earrings, gifted clips from my mom and a Moyna clutch. I absolutely love hte neckline on this dress and all the chain. It is incredible and I only paid $9.50 for it at a great thrift store, Out of the Closet!

Sailor in Pantolones

Playing Like a Drunken Sailor Who Just Happens to be Sober

I wore a new necklace with shoes that I've been hiding for way too long!
I wore Prada sandals, homemade pantolones that used to be not very glamorous capris, sailor tank from Anthropologie, homemade jewelry by yours truly, Vixen nail polish by Revelon, yellow silk headband from Anthropologie, bag thrifted and Anthropologie sunnies in Pearl. All shots taken by Ixchel, my bestfriend, at her new apartment in Pasadena! Her artwork in the background is simply perfect!

Playing in Pasadena and Echo Park With Ixchel, My Bestie!

Adventures in chasing light, being twitterpated, getting deliriously or should I say deviously drunken on Delirium, playing with cupcakes and partying like wanna be rockstars at the young age of thirty.

Twitterpated

I wore a pair of Anthropolgie pearl sunnies, a Pilcro and the Letterpress sailor tank from Anthropologie, a brand new necklace I made two nights ago named Aniya, a skirt made by Ixchel that is screen-printed hand dyed, gathered sweetly around the hips, and Prada sandals.

We chased the light and took some lovely Polaroids. We love to do this. We also found a delicious cupcakes (featured in The Knot). Yummy! Afterwards, we headed to Whole Foods to get some delicious Delirium beer. I also picked up a can of Modelo to hang onto!

We played at the  house for a bit to enjoy the beer and the cupcake. I curled my hair and it was a blast.

The last fling of the night was a ridiculously fun party with wonderfully nice people in Echo Park. The Birthday girl had the time of her life dancing with her boyfriend and swinging at her pinata.
