Khaki Shorts after

Here's what they turned into! I am happy and I had fun wearing them. Super comfortable on an unbearably hot day (on bikes). I am so used to Long Beach that it's pathetic any time I step close to the city and its miserable desert heat. I survived in this pair of shorts because they breathe well.

Today I crossed through South Pasadena to Old Town to Altadena. I met up with my best friend since we were kids and we had a play day! We explored, had delicious deli delights and frozen yogurt (not in that particular order) and cruised her neighborhood on bikes in my 2nd pair of new shorts and a new necklace! We took a few polaroids. Her artwork is tremendous and can be viewed on Flickr.
